Unlike the Cina totok, Christian preachers willingly embrace Jawi because the language medium allows their religious message to easier reach Malay language speakers.
They would love to circulate the Jawi Bible.
Hua Zong and Jiao Zong must be sorely missing MCA’s Wee Ka Siong, Chong Sin Woon, Hou Kok Chung et al already.
So how did the Dong Jiao Zong meeting with deputy education minister Teo Nie Ching (below) go? The Chinese educationists must surely be aware that YB Teo too is a staunch Christian, as is her boss DAP sec-gen Lim Guan Eng.
DAP’s many, many top Christian leaders are certainly more receptive to khat than the party’s egg-throwing grassroots.

Khat is ok, it’s not a compulsory to pass anyway. I support khat lessons in schools, moreover it’s only 3 pages.
