This is the best political video clip I’ve seen, ever!
Like Oliver Cromwell’s immortal “In the name of God, go!” speech in 1653 excoriating the British parliament, Geoffrey Cox’s epic rant delivered just a few hours ago, too, will be recorded in future history books.
Cox is Britain’s attorney general. He roared in the UK House of Commons (see video above) that the disgraceful anti-Brexit MPs were too cowardly to dissolve parliament and lacked courage to face their electorate in a snap election.
The AG then wags his finger at them as he thundered, “But the time is coming, the time is coming Mr Speaker, when even these turkeys won’t be able to prevent Christmas”.
