New freedoms in Malaysia Baru, hooray

In Old Malaysia under Mahathirism 1.0, no freedom of speech

In New Malaysia under Mahathirism 2.0, right to free speech for all

UBAH

Mahathir has changed, or so the DAP confidently believe. Mahathir today is the Dear Leader who will “Save Malaysia”, or so the DAP promise their Dapsters.

In Malaysia Baru, the newly changed 94-year-old Mahathir is showing leadership by example when he says, “I am exercising my right to free speech. Why is it that I can’t say something against the Jews when a lot of people say nasty things about me and about Malaysia and I didn’t protest?”

Now all Malaysians can follow the lead shown by Beloved Tun and begin exercising the right to free speech too.

“Change is coming”

If Hong Kong’s Prince of Protests Joshua Wong (below) were a Malaysian, he’d be a Dapster.

Come to our country, Josh. Here you can exercise your right to free speech

If a Dapster had white skin, she’d be Greta Thunberg (below).

Speaking to the UN general assembly, climate change eco warrior Greta said, “… you all come to us young people for HOPE. How dare you! You have stolen my dreams and my childhood with your empty words”.

“People are suffering. People are dying. Entire ecosystems are collapsing. We are in the beginning of a mass extinction …”

She kinda reminds one of the anti-Lynas crowd.

Greta-‘How dare you’-Thunberg took her doomsday hysteria all the way to the United Nations

That’s right, start ‘em young

Altogether now, chant in unison: “How dare you! How dare you!”

Repeat after Greta, children: “Right here, right now is where we draw the line. The world is waking up. And CHANGE is coming, whether you like it or not.” — Click on NGO Aliran’s tweet below for video

Greta Thunberg is the new icon for young hopeful Malaysians who want to save the planet.

MUST WATCH. Only four minutes and you’ll regret to miss this Drama Queen’s scary Oscar performance

The Greta wannabes are hailing from Penang where young greenie meanie protesters demonstrated at the Esplanade last Sunday against climate change.

What they actually want is for the climate, err, NOT to change. The climate changed to global warming in recent years is something bad.

(Their parents very likely had wanted a different sort of change; a good change; a regime change which they successfully got in May last year.)

Civil society is newly empowered in Malaysia Baru. Hail freedom!

The Children of Change … like it or not, they’re exercising their right to protest

  1. Save the planet but how about saving Penang from property “developers” and saving the livelihoods of Penang fisherfolk from three artificial islands off the southern coast of Penang island.

A Taiping resident told me recently that more “development” has been approved in Taiping after Pakatan Harapan won Perak.

Environmentalists blame carbon dioxide emissions for causing global warming and climate change but are silent about the effects of the increasing number and size of urban heat islands due to property “development” to the extent that there are too many properties than can be sold, so they now want to prostitute unsold properties to foreigners in a bid to forestall a property slump.
