Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah possesses a strong nationalistic spirit too. Don’t forget that he once founded a party called Semangat 46.
Going into 2021 (Mahathir’s Vision 2020 having crashed and burned) and with GE15 coming up, Ku Li just wanted to be clear about Chinese sentiments with regard to nationalism.
Responses from Chinese in social media to the recent proposal by Tengku Razaleigh were most predictable, i.e. They were nasty, brutish, and gave short shrift to his idea.
But do remember also that KuLi is the Umno advisor.
I can make an educated guess as to how he will advise his party later when the DAP desperately invites Umno to join forces in order to grab power.
In other words, the Dapsters failed his test because they can’t avoid showing their usual true colours.
2021 is already off to a good start!

Talking about the DAP, it papal-like Leader said recently that DAP beliefs like ‘Malaysia for Malaysians’ are engraved in stone which beliefs are actually a carbon copy of the aborted Malayan Union which was thwarted by the Spirit of Unity between the Royal Sultans and the Malay Rakyat in 1945. The Malayan Union was for equality for all. This poignant event reached its full flood of Peace, Harmony and Prosperity right through to 2003 after which foreign intervention accompanied by the Central European Yiddish song, ” Cash is King ” destroyed all our Golden Malaysian values to this very day. It was like Humpty Dumpty had a great Fall.
Those Leaders who keep on promising ‘reforms’ or ‘turn the Constitution into a Malayan Union Charter’, are irresponsible and insincere with the full knowledge that any revision of the Constitution rests with the majority of the population.of Malaysia. They should not be the Pied Pipers of Hamelin !
Therefore, I have proposed that the wealthy MCA and the rich DAP be treated as Social Welfare entities and that the Malay-based Government appoint talented Malaysian Chinese directly from the 6 million , to be Ministers, ombudsmen, advisers, GLCs executives, etc.,by-passing the MCA and the DAP which are communal middlemen political parties and have out-lived their purpose and usefulness to the Malaysian Chinese community. If at all, they created conflict and division to hamper the progress and development of Malaysia’s UNITY.
If the British could look after the Chinese in pre-Merdeka 1957 and pre-1997 Hong Kong better than the Chinese themselves, surely the Malays can do much better ?
