Mahathir yesterday criticised Putrajaya for allowing an Israeli civilian aircraft to enter Malaysian airspace.
He said: “People in the country do not want to see Israeli plane flying over Malaysian air.”
On China’s 16 military planes that flew near Kota Kinabalu however, Mahathir shrugged off the incursion saying the Chinese planes had been merely observed to be “reportedly” flying too close.
Mahathir said: “I don’t know if they’ve actually flown in Malaysian airspace”.
