Jawapan Zam kepada CEO The Star

Oleh Zainuddin Maidin

Walaupun tidak menyebutkan nama saya tetapi “a blogger” yang dimaksudkan CEO The Star (dulu ketua pengarang kumpulan akhbar The Star) dalam tulisannya di Sunday Star 6 Julai adalah saya kerana sayalah yang menyebutkan The Star sebagai akhbar yang ada kaitan dengan gerakan mazhab pelampau Kristian di Singapura dalam posting saya bertajuk ‘Pergi mampuslah MCA jika mahu menumpang tiket DAP‘. Zamkata baik MCA jaga The Star agar tidak terus menggunting

http://zamkata.blogspot.com/

The Star thinks Malays are stupid

Please read the following article by The Star senior editor June H.L. Wong very, very carefully.

By the way, June Wong is up there among the heavenly Wongs (Star ‘kings’) alongside Wong Chun Wai.

After you finish reading, and if you are a BN supporter, please think very, very clearly what you would advocate that the BN should do with the MCA. Continue reading “The Star thinks Malays are stupid”

The Star panellists declare Chinese tsunami did not happen

Teresa Kok, Malaysia’s seventh most powerful woman (konon), is the latest guest on The Star‘s Cafe Latte chat show.

Teresa blogged today that the panelists (Saifuddin Abdullah, PKR Penampang MP Darrel Leiking and former head of MCA think tank Fui K Soong) generally agreed that the GE13 results are not a Chinese tsunami (see screenshot below). Jangan perangai macam bebudak, teguran The Star kepada Melayu

Hari ini Zamkata: “Akhbar The Star adalah kepunyaan MCA dan Utusan kepunyaan Umno tetapi pemimpin MCA tidak mengawal The Star seperti pemimpin Umno mengawal [Utusan] kerana kepada orang Cina komersialisme lebih penting dari nasionalime.”

Utusan … Umno.

The Star … DAP. Continue reading “Jangan perangai macam bebudak, teguran The Star kepada Melayu”

DAP’s biggest social media network is The Star

Newbie on the blog Annie believes that:

“Backed by the numerous pro-Pakatan news portals and sympathetic publications such as Malaysiakini, Malaysian Insider, Free Malaysia Today, Malaysian Chronicles, Sinar Harian, Malay Mail, the Star etc, these pro-Pakatan bloggers and cybertroopers are indeed a powerful force.”

The Star: Govt says Beng Hock’s “own negligence” caused his death

The Star today likely caused BN to lose many more Chinese votes.

BN candidates slated to contest in borderline mixed seats and who are hoping for at least 20 percent Chinese support, take a deep breath. What would have been a close call will most certainly go down the wire now if the BN candidates were hoping to scrape through on a modicum of Chinese votes.

CEO The Star letak jawatan, keluar suratkhabar baru

Padan muka MCA!

The Star still not acknowledging its plagiarism

Malaysian Media Matters (MMM) last week detailed in three consecutive blog postings a prima facie case for plagiarism in The Star.

A columnist in the MCA-owned tabloid had apparently lifted passages verbatim from The Daily Mail (UK paper), from The New York Times, from a Yahoo! article, from a UK property website, from trade journal Psychology Today, from a professional guide to resume writing, from the work of a professor in a Columbia University publication, and likely from many more sources … but who’s counting.

Adun DAP kata Soi Lek “tak malu”, The Star seolah-olah mengiyakan

DAPSubangJaya – alter ego si Adun kawasan – kemudiannya menyusuli dengan tweet yang berbunyi, “Shameless [MCA] jus like their Pres” (screenshot bawah). Continue reading “Adun DAP kata Soi Lek “tak malu”, The Star seolah-olah mengiyakan”

Umno wajib jaga belakang.

Does The Star have a Christian agenda?

“Three shots ring out in close succession, and the woman’s shawl-shrouded body slumps to the ground. Whoops, cheers and praise to Allah follow another four shots into her inert form. The latest video footage to come out of Afghanistan purports to show the execution of an allegedly adulterous woman at the hands of the Taliban. DAP Christians support Jawi / pls start implementing nationwide

In the latest development, PAS is appreciative that DAP (at the party federal level) had quickly shut down Pahang DAP’s opposition to having mandatory Jawi signboard for shops in the state.

PAS deputy president Tuan Ibrahim yesterday lauded the requirement by Pahang that signages and street signs all feature the Jawi script.

The Islamist party also called on the rest of the states in Malaysia to implement a similar policy. Their evangelical party counterpart will doubtless throw their support behind this laudable Jawi agenda. Continue reading “DAP Christians support Jawi / pls start implementing nationwide”

When will more Penangites start questioning their state gomen?

I don’t see DAP losing Penang in the coming general election. What I do see, however, is Penangites becoming more and more like North Koreans in their Dear Leader and ‘All Hail the Party’ cult. To them, DAP can do no wrong and will be defended at all costs.

A hill-slope landslide on the island at a construction site in Tanjung Bungah killed 11 workers Saturday. Eleven people perished but the Penang government still can simply dismiss the matter. “Work site accidents happen almost every single day, so imagine if ministers have to resign because of them,” said the DAP Penang chairman, Continue reading “When will more Penangites start questioning their state gomen?”

Muar laundry: J-Star and the concept of separation of powers

The J-Star and its fellow travellers are loudly applauding the Johor sultan for His Royal Highness’ prompt intervention and instruction to the state exco on matters of legislation (or council guidelines) pertaining to religious discrimination, and specifically with regard to the case of a ‘Muslims Only’ laundromat in Muar.

JStar readers heaped praise on the sultan who was reported this morning by the paper’s CEO Wong Chun Wai as saying:

“From now on, I am directing the state executive council and all the councils to insist that any business owners who carry out such blatant discriminatory practices should have their licences revoked. Don’t mess around with your narrow-minded religious prejudices.” Continue reading “Muar laundry: J-Star and the concept of separation of powers”
