The Bersih committee revealed that they collected a total of RM2,450,000 in donations.

Bersih also claimed they attracted 500,000 participants to rally in just KL centre alone. Do you know how much waste – damage and garbage – half a million people can generate from their intense hyperactivities and not to mention sleepover? (more…)

“A nationwide opinion poll by UMR Research shows that 59 per cent of people think most boat arrivals are not genuine refugees.

Foreign NGOs criticize Malaysia’s Rohingya policy

Human Rights Watch deputy Asia director Phil Robertson has criticized Malaysia for its “cold-hearted policies”, according to Global Voices Online.

Meanwhile the NGOs are defiant. Eric Paulsen warned that it would be “extremely foolish for authorities to act against aid workers”.
