Look to China’s example shutting down its own vernacular schools

”Tibetan and Uighur minority language schools have mostly been eliminated since 2017 and replaced by Mandarin Chinese instruction, in tandem with a Beijing crackdown on dissent and mass detention of protesters and opponents,” the South China Morning Post (SCMP) reported yesterday.

In its report titled ‘Language rules for Inner Mongolia another step to erode ethnic groups in China’, SCMP quoted a Mongolian dissident as saying Beijing is implementing policies that could result in the “total destruction of language, culture and identity of all ethnic minorities” within China. Meet the Katdarshians

Yes, I’m aware Hannah Yeoh is currently in the news and finally getting her well deserved comeuppance.

And I still maintain my position that DAP is dajjal, and Mama Dapster is a menace and mentee of (mentor) Grandpa Dapster.

But lately I’ve been tired and busy. I’m looking after seven cats and a dog.

Malaya kekal Tanah Melayu Bumi Islam kalau bukan kerana MCA

Continue reading “Malaya kekal Tanah Melayu Bumi Islam kalau bukan kerana MCA”

Wong Chun Wai: “I really feel pity for this pathetic lot”

J-Star CEO Wong Chun Wai is again ranting against “the hate mongers who are hell-bent on sowing disunity”.

As usual, the diatribe in his newspaper column today is targeted at perceived sordid racists and bigots who spew “hate rhetoric” (according to the EvangeliSTAR narrative).

Chun Wai pathetic lot

Wong Chun Wai thinks some people are “idiots”

This time Chun Wai goes even further and adds to his Scorn List those folks “with little intellect”. He says, “incredibly, all these [economic and business] concerns do not seem to bother the hate mongers. How can we blame them, as they are idiots after all…”.

He specifies the idiots as the “self-appointed heroes of their race and religion”, “political wannabes and minnows”. The uber evangelista adds, “I really feel pity for this pathetic lot”.

The only talent of this idiotic-pathetic lot, Chun Wai concludes, is “to create disunity” among moderate Malaysians.

Wong Chun Wai: “This country has already got enough religious and racial bigots”

Divisive devils: Those ‘Race & Religion’ morons

“Hate-spewing, divisive, race-obsessed ignoramuses” is what the J-Star editorials have been repetitively labeling other Malaysians in conjunction with the MCA media’s Moderation campaign – see street billboard above – conducted against the “extremists” and “racial and religious bigots”.

Chun Wai ought to elaborate on what “unity” is there to begin with in Malaysian society when the Chinese and the Malays speak different languages, profess different religions, work in different sectors and live in altogether different worlds.

The values held by Malays and Chinese are “not merely different but often conflicting”, writes Dr Mahahir Mohamad in The Malay Dilemma (p.14).

Hoi MCA! Tunjuk jantan sikit, boleh tak

Baru sahaja – pada pukul 9 malam tadi (Isnin) akhbar milik parti Cina BN menyiarkan kenyataan seorang pemimpin MCA menegur Ibrahim Ali.

Sebelum itu, liputan The Star mengenai peristiwa hitam angpow putih hanya setakat melaporkan, “Perkasa’s inaugural Chinese New Year open house was so ‘popular’ that it ran out of ang pow and had to give out white packets instead.”

Suratkhabar bangang dan bebal betul. Continue reading “Hoi MCA! Tunjuk jantan sikit, boleh tak”

So my dog’s Chinese too, eh?

Below are my responses to commentators who participated in the Satu Sekolah untuk Semua (SSS) discussion in yesterday’s posting ‘Anak pemimpin DAP sekolah apa?

HuaYong  |  Nov 24 at 12:11 am

“Desegregation [will] work provided there is complement strategy that resolve the entire sosio-political aspect.”

Helen: To expand on Hua Yong’s statement about “the entire sosio-political aspect”, it’s really the elephant in the room that SSS has conveniently ignored.
