Bosnia getting Ukraine war contagion

The ”spectre of war” is hanging over Bosnia, said Al Jazeera in a documentary titled ‘Testing the Peace’.

Kabul attack — the other side of the story

Thirteen American soldiers (11 marines, 1 navy, 1 army) were killed when a bomb went off outside Kabul airport a few days ago.

Another 18 members of the USA military were injured.

That’s the view from western lens of the recent carnage. From the opposite perspective, close to 170 Afghans were also killed.

DAP must tell us where is pastor Raymond Koh

“The victims of injustice cannot rest in peace until truth and justice have been restored to them,” said Suaram adviser Dr Kua Kia Soong yesterday in his keynote address to the Human Rights Week event participants at the KL Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall.

Among other things, human rights group Suaram wants to know the whereabouts of missing pastor Raymond Koh – who was a victim of enforced disappearance – in order for bringing closure and restorative justice to his family, and putting an end to “the culture of impunity”.

Christian-Muslim clashes rock Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka police commandos, air force and the army sent hundreds of troops to Negombo to impose a curfew and contain religious tensions after clashes broke out between Christians and Muslims.
