Chinese schools could be abolished … how now DAP?

There have been many calls for decades to do away with Chinese schools. Now it looks increasingly likely to happen.

In his Facebook yesterday, Perlis mufti Mohd Asri Zainul Abidin or popularly known as Dr Maza endorsed a resuscitated petition (below) to close all vernacular schools — see below. Continue reading “Chinese schools could be abolished … how now DAP?”

Jawi now to go ahead, eh, Lim Khat Siang?

The 2020 school term starts next week. The contested Jawi component is also in the Standard Four textbook. Once the pupils report for class, it’s all systems go.

DAP is nothing but a snafu. Its Deputy Education Minister Teo Nie Ching dropped the ball while the groveling Lims are clearly missing theirs. Continue reading “Jawi now to go ahead, eh, Lim Khat Siang?”

Remember, remember the 28th of December

28 Dec 2019 — the day DAP did nothing. Mark this watershed date.

Today is D-Day … DAP’s Do Nothing Day.

A day when the Dumbstruck Apek Party left its tiny chihuahua paw print on the pages of Malaysian history as a useless footnote — only to be forever remembered as having betrayed its Chinese voter base. Continue reading “Remember, remember the 28th of December”

40,000 Christians petition for pastor Raymond Koh’s safe return

Today is Christmas eve; tomorrow will be the third year running that the Koh family will be without their husband and father as Christians everywhere else celebrate the birth of their Lord.

“Where is Raymond Koh?” — his brothers and sisters in Christ from all around the world (below) are still asking even though DAP, his own country’s Christian-dominated ruling party, has all but forgotten about the pastor’s plight. Continue reading “40,000 Christians petition for pastor Raymond Koh’s safe return”

Dear Firsters, we’re now living in a tropical country lah

Lim Khat Siang swears so very loudly that he’s “Malaysian First”.

He and his DAP Firsters in Pakistan Harapan claim that they always put their prized Malaysian nationality ahead of those who prioritize their race (“Melayu First” Muhyiddin) or who prioritize their religion, e.g. Hadi Awang who insists that the ummah’s allegiance to fellow Muslims transcends national boundaries. Betrayed big time

Who has suffered the most betrayal? Sketched below is a quick thumbnail of the following issues — Jawi lessons, UEC, Icerd, Rome Statute and TAR College funding.

(1) The cabinet decision that had seemingly put a lid on teaching Jawi in school was “just a guise meant to momentarily pacify the frustrated public”, said a Sin Chew opinion editorial yesterday headlined ‘Betrayal of public trust’.

Don’t worry, be happy

Malaysians are “in a state of maximum worry”, one new survey (above) by a research outfit headed by Pribumi supreme council member Rais Hussin has found.

EMIR Research’s inaugural National Worry Index concluded that Malaysians are suffering extremely high levels of anxiety in four major areas. Continue reading “Don’t worry, be happy”

Don’t underestimate Mahathir doubling down

If the Tanjung Piai byelection was a landslide, then Mahathir is the one suffering from an avalanche of rocks raining on his head.

“It was a byelection where the Chinese wanted to teach the Harapan government an important lesson,” said DAP exco P. Ramasamy, also Penang (II) forever chief minister-in-waiting. Continue reading “Don’t underestimate Mahathir doubling down”

Gerakan deserve to lose their deposit

I’d have more respect for Gerakan had they quit BN before 9 May 2018.

If the poseur party had been prepared to part ways with the ruling coalition while BN was still the federal government, then their pretense of doing it on principle might have passed muster.

However Gerakan’s craven act of bailing out only after BN conclusively lost Putrajaya smacks of a rat quickly scurrying away from the sinking ship. Continue reading “Gerakan deserve to lose their deposit”

Pribumi silat master, DAP taichi sifu circling each other

It’s hypocritical to protest Universiti Malaya vice chancellor Abdul Rahim Hashim as “racist” while still embracing Mahathir as chairman of the new Hope.

There was nothing of the content of Rahim’s speech (video below, in full) at the Malay Dignity Congress that did not come from the Mahathir playbook. Rahim said nothing that Mahathir had not already mouthed many times before in recent years, or that Mahathir had not reiterated even just lately. Guan Eng wants MCA to let go TAR College … (into Maszlee’s hands)?

Four public universities recently co-organized the Amanat Mahathir congress which in turn prompted charges of anti-Chinese racism and religious bigotry from the ethnic minorities.

Beloved Tun, you’re truly our Bapa Malaysia Baru and we really, really cherish your all amanuts

FM MIA @ SPV / WKB 2030 launch

Prof. Terence Gomez has questioned whether the Hope Coalition’s Shared Prosperity Vision (SPV) 2030 unveiled yesterday by the PM was drafted with all Malaysians in mind — ref. Malaysiakini news story below.

According to the mastermind of SPV 2030 or its name in bahasa Melayu, Wawasan Kemakmuran Bersama (WKB 2030), his 10-year socio-economic policy is “a gift for the current generation and generations to come”. Continue reading “FM MIA @ SPV / WKB 2030 launch”

Will DAP gomen uphold Christian freedom in multi-religious Penang?

The Methodist Girls School in DAP-ruled Penang is being investigated by police over its Christian prayer at a recent awards event for pupils and parents.

MGS is a 128-year-old mission school with a Christian heritage (obviously) where they’ve always recited Christian prayers within its premises and hosted Christian fellowship — see video below. Continue reading “Will DAP gomen uphold Christian freedom in multi-religious Penang?”

What do Mahathir’s Pribumi people think of ally DAP?

The Sarawak alliance led by Abang Johari Openg (pix below) is now buddying up to PAS. Johari is a Malay Muslim.

Will we witness a similar high-fiving between native Sarawak leaders and DAP anytime soon? Or would DAP be nudged even further to the fringe and isolated from the indigenous populations in both Malaya and Borneo? Continue reading “What do Mahathir’s Pribumi people think of ally DAP?”

Kerusi parlimen Tanjung Piai dibentuk ketika persempadanan semula dijalankan di Johor pada 2003.

The night 60,000 ‘ubah’ crowd cheered, clapped, whistled, roared

It was 6 March 2008.

It was 36 hours before the 12th general election.

It was also 11-and-a-half years ago when an estimated 60,000 Chinese gathered in the open field of Han Chiang High School, Penang for the mega rally dubbed ‘the Mother of All Ceramahs’.

HY wrote: “i think its a matter of right n wrong, what he said is wrong, nothing to do with honesty. hadi is infamous for his shariah compliance lies, he is essentially a liar, i dun agree he is any better than lks.”

Back to school, SJK(C), for Maszlee?

Poor Education Minister.

Maszlee Malik just got an earful in Chinese from one angry-looking dude (below).

This fuming fella also wants to know what the DAP’s total of 42 MPs have to say about the Satu Sekolah Untuk Semua suggestion which Maszlee is carefully deliberating. See Tan Teik Cheng’s Facebook entry below. Continue reading “Back to school, SJK(C), for Maszlee?”

Syed Saddiq’s critics must love their enemy and turn the other cheek

It’s the Christian thing to do.

Zakir Naik has ‘apologized’. So Syed Saddiq rightly telegraphs ‘you’re forgiven, my brother and welcome to the fold’. It is the ‘love your neighbour’ thing to do.

To the DAP running dogs, please learn to extend your ‘Peace & Love’ too to PAS (and Pribumi’s) favourite Muslim preacher. Continue reading “Syed Saddiq’s critics must love their enemy and turn the other cheek”
