Dulu PAS memetik surah al-Maa’idah 8 beserta surah an-Nisaa 135.
Ayat-ayat tersebut ditafsirkan dalam dokumen ‘Negara Islam’ PAS sebagai membawa makna “konsep keadilan dan kesaksamaan sebenar hanya dapat dilaksanakan apabila sesuatu pemerintahan melaksanakan Islam secara menyeluruh dalam segenap sistemnya“.
Ia cukup jelas bahawa maksud sedemikianlah yang disampaikan oleh kitab Al-Quran, tegas presiden PAS Hadi Awang.
MCA yang anti-hudud tidak mewakili suara masyarakat Cina yang sekarang sudah mengikut alunan Firster.
Seterusnya, MCA tidak pandai membaca denyutan nadi golongan Cina yang telah ‘ubah’ ataupun dalam kata lain, melalui satu anjakan paradigma dari segi pemikiran mereka.
Sebenarnya ianya DAP yang menerima sokongan tak berbelah bagi kaum Tionghua. Maka orang Cina yang 90 peratus pro-DAP boleh dikira juga sebagai pro-hudud.

PAS for All, Hudud for All.
Former Johor DAP deputy chairman Norman Fernandez strongly condemns the DAP leadership for deceiving Chinese voters into thinking that it was impossible for PAS to implement hudud.
The DAP had misled non-Malays that PAS would require a two-thirds Parliamentary majority to bring its hudud plan to fruition, he said in a press statement.

We’re a mere fortnight away from the historic sitting of the state assembly in Kelantan on March 18 to table the hudud amendment bill.
And hudud is just the lever to pry the Islamist party away from its coalition partner DAP. Despite their earlier charade of being Islam-friendly, DAP is dead set against this law under Islam for meting out capital and corporal punishment .
Needless to say, it is to Umno’s best interest – if not the BN’s very survival – for PAS to leave Pakatan.

21 Oct 2012: On the eve of the MCA annual general assembly, Chua Soi Lek announced that most of the 50,000 new applicants to join the party since the last general election are women below the age of 40.
The reason is due to Dr Chua’s personal sex appeal.
Mahu tak mahu, Presiden Obama pun terpaksa bekerjasama dengan wakil-wakil parti Republikan kerana masakan kerajaan Amerika Syarikat akan dapat bergerak kecuali dengan adanya permuafakatan (usaha bipartisan) kedua-dua pihak.
Mahu tak mahu mayat Karpal akan dilangkah juga dengan adanya kerjasama DAP-PAS untuk mencapai impian bersama menduduki Putrajaya. Percaturan mereka termasuk ketetapan untuk tidak membangkitkan isu hudud yang diletakkan sebagai ‘belakang kira’ buat sementara waktu.

The Natrah religious riot rocked Singapore for three days beginning 11 Dec 1950, killing 18 people and injuring 173. The 13-year-old Dutch girl whose fate sparked the rioting is known to Christians as Maria Bertha Hertogh and to Muslims as Natrah (also spelled Nadra).
Heightened sentiments stemming from the Natrah court hearing were further aggravated by the newspaper war (English language versus Malay language paper). On Dec 5, the Singapore Standard published on its page 2 the headline ‘Bertha Knelt Before Virgin Mary Statue‘.

DAP supremo Lim Kit Siang issued a statement yesterday saying “BN political chicanery, mendacity and bankruptcy of first order with CSL warning Chinese voters ‘A vote for DAP is a vote for PAS’ while Najib warning Malay voters ‘A vote for PAS is a vote for DAP’.”
Kit Siang claims that the inverse campaign lines by Najib Razak and Chua Soi Lek were “sheer illogicality, insanity and even idiocy”.
Terpinga-pinga saya. Hairan bagaimana Parti Langkah Mayat boleh tiba-tiba pusing belakang depan untuk memendam bantahan mereka terhadap hudud.
Perkara ini dibayangkan Lim Guan Eng ketika menangkis dakwaan Chua Soi Lek dalam perbahasan mereka dua hari lepas. Soi Lek telah mendakwa bahawa DAP sanggup mengorak langkah bagi PAS melaksanakan hudud.

Tuan Guru Harun Taib memuji Ustaz Nasharudin Mat Isa atas kesungguhan semangatnya mempertahankan asas dan matlamat teras parti.

Posting saya semalam menyoal apa prinsip perjuangan DAP memandangkan Umno, MCA dan MIC masing-masing ada ‘Malay’, ‘Chinese’ dan ‘Indian’ dalam nama organisasi sementara PAS ada ‘Islam’.
Jawapan telah diberikan saya oleh seorang pembaca menggunakan nama samaran ‘Melon Ang’ (sebenarnya gelaran ‘melon’ itu bermaksud untuk mengumpat dan dialih bahasa daripada loghat Cina tetapi tak apalah, kita sudahpun masak dengan kerenah puak DAP ini).
