Malays will flock to PAS because Umno is getting on our nerves

By Shamshul Anuar

As expected, Umno takes the easy way out. Its way of handling or preempting slandering is horrible.

It simply refuses to be firm. It “showers” love and affection on those who wish Umno gone. Take an example on slanders against Majlis Raja-Raja . Even the Highnesses had openly voiced out their displeasure.

What more does Umno need before responding? Continue reading “Malays will flock to PAS because Umno is getting on our nerves”

Hudud: PAS tolong jawab pertanyaan Tun

Dulu PAS memetik surah al-Maa’idah 8 beserta surah an-Nisaa 135.

Why hudud is point of no return for Chinese community

The Rubicon is crossed. From now on, it’s confrontation all the way.

1. Only simple majority needed in Parliament

“All that is required to amend the law is a simple majority,” said Gan Ping Sieu (below).

The MCA Syariah Law and Policy Implementation special task force chairman is referring to the Syariah Courts (Criminal) Jurisdiction Act 1965, a federal legislation pertaining to jurisdiction in state law. Continue reading “Why hudud is point of no return for Chinese community”

Ulama kicked out means evangelista put in control

“They have tasted power through Pakatan Rakyat and they want more. It looks like PAS has reached the point of no return,” writes Joceline Tan.

“Instead of redefining the party’s role in Pakatan, the party may have to redefine its policy of leadership by the ulama,” she adds. Continue reading “Ulama kicked out means evangelista put in control”

Whose Islam? Umno: Muslim Malay; PAS: Malay Muslim (1)

“What were the Malays of the 1950s and 60s like?”

By Conrad

Original comment @ 2013/02/26 at 7:12 am

Probably the kind of post-colonial Malays that Mahathir hated but the only kind that could produce the Malay Dilemma. I suppose it is the old story of class conflict but conveniently misdiagnosed as race tensions.

Amending Constitution to put a seal on Islamic state

Some Malays see the recent brouhaha over the secular state issue as both MCA and DAP getting too big for their boots.

What with the DAPsters lording it everywhere, evangelista aggression (whose prestige is burnished by the MCA media machinery) as well as the increasingly in-your-face behaviour, don’t be surprised if the ‘Something’s-Gotta-Give’ eventually does.

If the Chinese consolidate into one voting bloc as seems almost inevitable, why shouldn’t Malays do the same?

Andaikata PAS berbaik-baik dengan Umno

Lim Kit Siang dalam kenyataan akhbarnya berkata terdapat 35 orang Ahli Parlimen yang beragama Kristian.

Dewan Rakyat kita mempunyai 222 buah kerusi.

The ‘size of balls’ no joke with MCA

There’s a popular joke which many of you may have heard before. It goes like this:

Usually the shop floor staff of the company play football.

The middle-level managers are more interested in tennis.

The top management usually has a preference for golf.

Finding: As you go up the corporate ladder, the balls reduce in size.

Mubaligh politik tersepit angkara DUMC

Continue reading “Mubaligh politik tersepit angkara DUMC”
