The coming 2024 lunar year is the Year of the Dragon in Chinese zodiac.
Chinese New Year falls on 10 Feb 2024. The Chap Goh Meh festival – marking the 15th day of CNY – will be celebrated on Feb 24.
The Madani gomen is not holding any new year eve (Dec 31) celebrations tonight, deciding instead to observe a sombre mood in solidarity with the suffering Palestinians.
On Chap Goh Meh (Feb 24), however, Malaysia Madani will be holding a mega rally for the Gaza Palestinians targeting one million participants gathered in KL — see Bernama news report via Malaysiakini tweet below.
Cina can be expected to show fire-breathing enthusiasm 2024 for the Palestinian cause as they step into our Malaysian future in lockstep with Madani.
DAP leaders will be at the Solidarity with Palestine rally on Feb 24 (also Chap Goh Meh) , dressed in their best CNY clothes and signature keffiyeh.

Its good that we have Palestine issues so that all liberal Malays can see Chinese migrant workers are anti Malays and Islam. As seen in Malaysiakini comments by chinese migrants. The chinese workers do not understand or emphatise with Malay issue.
TDM a Prime Minister for 22 years and a second term of 22 months have stereotyped the Malaysian Indians as alleged to be disloyal. How he came to this conclusion on a major component of Malaysia’s society was unexplained ? For years, I heard of rumours alleging a MIC leader having his own township. With the caste system in India, this is understandable ! When will TDM level his sights on the Malaysian Chinese ? Apart from the born again christians of Hainanese origin of the Christian DAP Leadership who are now behaving like a bull in a china shop, the Malaysian Chinese from centuries ago have given their all including their lives for the betterment of our beloved Malaysia. We the Chinese not only expressed our loyalty to the Yang Di Pertuan Agong in the National Interest but also via our contributions like our donation of the First Istana Negara Malaysia built and owned by my father, Chan Wing, the many urban developments by the Chinese including schools, hospitals, concomitant with the opening up of new jungle areas in all the States. The Malaysian Chinese are Malaysians as shown by their cemeteries today. These are National monuments to the lives and times of the Malaysian Chinese which should be honoured, protected and safeguarded. The Spirit and Soul of a Nation make a Nation. We Chinese even though we are always law-abiding anywhere in the World, stand proud and respectful of our ancestors and heritage which have never been shaken for 5,000 years. Hence, the All Chinese MCA 1949 is the proper and correct Leadership for the 100% Malaysian Chinese, the Hans and the Laos – Not those who look CHINESE on the OUTSIDE but NO CHINESE INSIDE ! The Malays like TDM should be aware of Greeks bearing gifts ! Only in Malaysia, we have nearly as many clans of Chinese as CHINA ! OMG !
