Hari kebangsaan 2Malaysia/Gereja tampil ke depan lagi

Cakap ‘1Bangsa, 1Negara, 1Jiwa’ tetapi bikin 2Sambutan.

Petikan laporan Sinar Harian bertajuk 4 negeri PR guna tema Hari Kemerdekaan sendiri‘:

Fungsi Prayer United

Prayer United bertindak sebagai pengantara untuk mengenalpasti isu-isu dan menyalurkan strategi secepat mungkin kepada semua jaringan gereja untuk didoakan (“to identify key strategic issues for prayer, and to communicate these clearly and quickly to all prayer networks and churches”).

<QUOTE>

• The first purpose is to set up a united prayer movement for the whole church to coordinate prayer and to enhance unity among Christians.

• The second purpose is to challenge the whole church to pray together for the transformation of society and nation. In particular, the focus will be on the two upcoming key national events, namely, the National Jubilee Celebration ["the 50th year of the formation of our nation"], beginning on 16 Sept, 2012, [and] the upcoming General Elections, GE13.

Seruan NECF dan CCM kepada gereja-gereja:

“We look to you to join us in this spiritual venture of prayer so that all of us will see the Lord’s blessings poured out upon our nation, bringing about a powerful transformation for the good and well-being of all citizens in our land.”

“When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

Surat NECF boleh dibaca di Prayer United – Announcement to the Churches (30 July 2012).

I thought dari segi tatabahasanya should be sejiwa, sebangsa dan senegara, although sejiwa, sebangsa, 1Malaysia sounds sweeter.

    LOL

Pakatan already started celebrating 16 Sep instead of 31 Aug some years back. Part of their Borneo strategy…

Hermm.. pihak kerajaan menangguk di air yg keruh dgn slogan bias kpdnya, manakala pembangkang bersifat pentingkan diri juga.. makanya kita rakyat mendapat 2 pihak ahli2 politik yg pentingkan diri dan haprak, no class at all and unpatriotic. Cant even compromise..

    Khairul,

What is wrong with “janji ditepati”? Remember BN is not the only Govt. PR is also the govt for 4 states.

By all means go and announce that PR also “menepati janji”. But do not go separate way. Respect that BN as a govt with mandate has the right to choose the slogan it feels right.

If PR takes over, it will have its day in the sun to create a slogan to impress.

Hell, you constantly divide by race, religion, politics and even media coverage. In a normal country you would have been shown up for the bigot that you are. I guess in bolehland, your kind thrives. Now quick go run through cyberspace and paste this along.

Awww, awwww the pain, the pain oh the pain. I’ve just been struck almost dead by lighting b’cos I’m not willing to repent my E-V-I-L, divisive ways. Don’t reckon you’re gonna be visiting me in hospital with a bunch of flowers, huh?

Btw, if you persist in calling me Hell, I shall call you Zeus.

Waaalauvei….Satu Bangsa, Satu Negara dan Sejiwa…This is every DAPsters’ wet dream come true…I bet Namawee and the rest of the DAPster and Pakanista cults will be singing the theme with tears in the eyes while waving the national flag….so touching…..But but…wait a meeting, this sounds familiar….look at the Satu Malaysia song…

    =========================================
Lirik Lagu Satu 1 Malaysia – Koir Pelajar

    Verse 1
    Dunia kian berubah
    Perubahan melingkari
    Melaksana hasrat hatiKejayaan terbukti

    Verse 2
    Dunia yang megah
    Dengan misi yang gagah
    Kerana perpaduan
    Kita masih bersama

    Chorus
    Kita satu bangsa,
    Kita satu Negara
    Kita satu matlamat,
    ooooKita satu bangsa,
    satu Negara
    Kita satu Malaysia

    Verse 3
    Bermulanya sekarang
    Perjalanan dilaksana
    Seia sekata sehati dan sejiwa

    Verse 4
    Membina masa hadapan
    Menuju kejayaan
    Kita semua rakyat Malaysia
    Harmoni, saling menghormati

    Chorus x2
    Kita satu bangsa,
    Kita satu Negara
    Kita satu matlamat,
    ooooKita satu bangsa,
    satu Negara
    Kita satu Malaysia

    ===========================================

Pakatan copying the 1Malaysia song ?

BTW wonder which genius came up with this tagline ? This doesn’t seems gramatically correct, shouldn’t it be satu bangsa, satu negara ? But I could be wrong but it doesn’t sound right.

Coming up with such a grammatically wrong tagline akin to insulting the national language.

      Calvin,

Some readers had proposed the term ‘Pakatoons’ and yes, your prognosis is correct. The slogan is already giving them multiple orgasms — see the avalanche of Malaysiakini reader comments @ http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/205236

Mula-mula solat lain imam, solat jumaat masjid asing-asing. Ops, mereka bukan sambut 31 Ogos pun kan, mereka sambut 16 September. Mereka lupa agaknya, Bangsar, Subang Jaya tu terletak di MALAYSIA!!
