1Sekolah: DAP menyokong penuh Dasar Kebudayaan Kebangsaan

Rebooted: DAP 2.0 (Malaysian First)

Memetik ucapan Lim Kit Siang pada 17 Julai 1981 bertajuk ‘Racial Polarisation the foremost Malaysian problem in the 1980s‘, SatD mentafsirkan pendekatan ‘Malaysian Malaysia’ DAP sebagai berada di luar landasan Perlembagaan.

SatD telah mengolah:

“The underlying thought process behind the [Lim Kit Siang] statement centers around a situation that one becomes Malaysian First [sic] (according to DAP Supremo) can only be satisfied outside our Jurisdiction.”

Deeds are more meaningful than just words or clothing and whateverelse one may choose to effect.

Just my two sen’s worth. Thank you Ms Helen Ang.

  2. DAP NI MEMANG CELAKA BESAR,JENIS MAKAN BABI…JIKA TAK SETUJU DENGAN KEMPEN 1 SEKOLAH UTK SEMUA DAN PERLU GUNA BAHASA MALAYSIA/MELAYU…NAK GUNA BAHASA IBUNDA BALIK TONGSAN

  3. Dear Helen,
It is kinda sad that some of our friends refuse to realise that they cannot get what they want by forcing things on other people. Most of the time we would find them so adamant in arguing on academic points without even bothering to know the realities on the ground. We will never have Bangsa Malaysia by hurling insults at each other and trying to destroy institutions cherished by each others community. For me, patience and understanding is the answer. Yes, it is easy to shout slogans such as “Satu Bangsa, Satu Bahasa, Satu Negara”, but to really achieve that dream in this country will take more than just sloganeering and hurting each others feelings.

    1. Hi Big Cat,

You’re right. It’s really a matter of trust, like, would you leave your child with a babysitter that you lack confidence in? It’s the same with entrusting your kid to the school.

Looking at the way some of the SSuS-ers have reacted (we’re adults & we can handle it but), imagine how insecure a parent would feel worrying about his young child being at the mercy of arrogant people in a system that is hostile to his family.

Furthermore, if I (as someone who blogs in BM) am confronted with such condescending attitudes, how then the poor parents that they term ‘Cina bukit’ and the poor kids whose proper given names the teachers turn into ‘Ah Beng’.

Btw, I just read your Oct posting ‘My favourite Chinese school‘ and we’re on the same page wrt the question ‘How many Chinese schools are built or financially supported by DAP?’

      Cheers

    2. Sad? sad?

It is expected. these ultra chauvanists who see your blogs and support your comments are there only because of your vendettas to Dap. Everything that goes wrong is spinned by you people to look like Dap is at fault. deep down they have no like for people who do not think like them, and now you can see that surface. This is what really drives ssss crowd: intolerance to other views.

      1. Dear Obefan,
Fyi, I am actually a Malay (though my DAP friends also called me a pendatang for one reason or another). I never attended a Chinese school, not a Chinese in any way and cant speak any mandarin or any other Chinese dialect. My DAP friends identified me as an Umno supporter despite me not being a member of that party. Despite all that, I understand the importance and contributions of the Chinese schools to this country and due to that I am making a stand to go against the one school system initiative. I do not have any vendetta against the DAP people. I just don’t agree with what the party stands for. Cheers.

      2. hello bigcat,

I understand. i do apologize if you thought i mistook you for non Malay.

My point is to writers such as Helen who i notice are so anti-Dap they will hantam them for every fault real n mostly imaginary. The funniest thing is they believe mca is solution for salvation, but MCAs past n present track record is what caused people to lose confidence in it 1st place. This is what attracts the far ultra crowd, as you can see in comments in her earlier writing.

  4. On this issue, I beg to disagree with you. Malaysian Malaysia and Malaysian First is no different simply because DAP has never changed its stance since its formation. Most important, Lim Kit Siang’s position on Dasar Kebudaya Kebangsaan has never changed since that 1981 declaration and therefore it still reflects DAP’s official policy. Show me any documentary evidence that LKS has revoked his earlier statement (1981). Bear in mind DAP and LKS means the same. It does not matter if some other DAP leaders are seen to be “supportive” as per your examples. How about those 12 Sarawak DAP ADUN who refused to wear songkok during the official opening of the State Assembly? Whereas it was an official attire!
    ______________________________________________________________________________________

Panda Kungfu, LKS is no longer sec-gen nor holding any major position. LGE is Kepala, and his faction (the evangelists) are the ones who are in control of the party. Since they’re publicly posturing in support of the national culture policy, then they should be held to account. If bikin tak serupa cakap, then the SSS campaign might want to call them out on it and demand a clarification on their stand. Cheers, Helen

  5. Salam sejahtera Helen,

  6. i am disappointed with the para u mentioned about lim guan eng and co ‘started to embrace the national religion’ by those examples u wrote. i dont know they are satire or ur honest assessment on guan eng and co.

but if it is the measures u used in justifiying how guan eng – in ur own word – jelas menerima unsur melayu dan keislaman, then i am deeply concern over the future of us all.

and with the same breathe u mentioned about the willingness of PAS to let go of ‘Negara Islam’ replacing it with negara kebajikan. u made it sound like this is the holy sacrifice by the PAS leadership. but the fact that matter is, this is cr4P

we both know this isnt it. that negara kebajikan replacing negara islam IS NOT the holy compromisation or sacrifice or whatever. the fact that matter is, PAS was FIXED by their own doings and it was BASED on POLITICAL understanding that Negara Islam becomes Negara Kebajikan. if they continue with negara islam, it will not benefit them at all and pakatan especially. thats why after only 55-60 years in politics, PAS ‘realized’ theres not a single ayat Quran saying anything ‘Negara Islam’ . i wonder do they even read the Kitab all these years? lolz

poor that chap who died in Baling some odd years ago. he was the real victim of PAS’s political ‘religion’. that died chap was vehemently against all people of his kind because PAS said those people were kuffar. now PAS are directly working with kuffar. he must have curse in his grave. see God nowadays give cash. directly.

and those chinese mostly DAP people and one indian u mentioned, u knew why they recite all those quran verses. and throw big party on muslim celebrations. dont u dare to say other wise. it is all about the votes. and being associate with islam and melayu, it will only return more malay and islamic people votes. these people will stop at nothing in trying to gather the votes. they will sell their children, their mothers and fathers, if that means bringing more votes to them.

maybe i exaggerated on that selling children bit, but i wudnt bet against them. u know what happen to puyi, dont u?

so in a nutshell u know these arguments u wrote about DAP are not valid at all. they are wrong.

So if really DAP is so much becoming more islamic and more melayu, i think they should stop questioning the scholarships matters where of course the amount of scholarships WILL forever in favour of the malays. or the contracts. or whatever associated with special bumi rights.
or stop arguing about Special Rights of the malays. I know some people say this is the tongkat but who cares? this is my tongkat and do whatever u want but i am not giving u my tongkat anytime.

err..before anything i should point out that they were there in the constitution.

  7. Dah lah tu…..usah bertelagah pasal kaum lagi, pening kepala kita semua.

  8. The proponent of one school is mostly from the old school, that is why they keep talking LKS, MM, communist, satu bangsa satu sekolah, they should have realized the mentioned notion is already out of fashion but thick face enough to talk intellectual this and intellectual that, similar to DAP that idiotically believe that the Malaysian First rhetoric will make them more Malaysian, and further delude that by ranking race at second place, people will perceive them as less racist. Let us take pleasure in watching how hypocrite trying to outdo each other.
