    1. NegaraMelayu,

Bukan pasal Mukhriz sebenarnya. Ianya pasal hala tuju UMNO.

Tetapi bila tengok Hishamudin masih menang, hilang selera. Mujurlah Dr zahid pun menang bergaya juga. Rupanya masih ada “jantan tulin” dalam saf UMNO ni.

    1. Kita dah minta banyak kali pada Helen supaya pilih gambar Hisham menghunus keris dengan penuh sifat ‘kejantanan’ tetapi helen tetap enggan menunaikan nya..

  1. hahaha….. transformasi gaya UMNO..! Lebih banyak uban, lebih banyak kedut dan lebih banyak duit masukkkkk…!!! hahahaha…..

  2. Pictures do speak thousands of words. I feel sad for UMNO. At least Mukhriz menang bergaya. But I doubt that he will harp on the popular votes thingy like PR supremo did during the aftermath of PRU13 (until now I think!).

I feel more sad for Akram and Maznah though. It was a conclusive loss for them. I’m interested to see the popular votes number for them though.. dah keluar ke? Did I miss it?

  3. Transformation. This is obviously from the consultants that Najib has paid top ringgit to. I hear the same buzzword being bandied about in corporate meetings before Najib found it “cool”.

So it is the status quo. But the alternatives were not better.

  4. Results as expected. Blood will always be thicker than water. Johor will also need someone with power esp after the Gelang Patah mutiny. Hope the cousins will stabilize the situation there the next GE14.

As for Mukhriz, congratulations on the popular votes. Che concentrate on Kedah la macam ni ya.. sedih kerana TDM lebih 20taun as PM (bapa pemodenan) tetapi Kedah begitu mundur dan ketinggalan, so pse do something.

Balik ziarah SgPetani sekadar dpt shopping kat Tesco aje, boring la. Aloq Staq pun takde apa. Tak laghat asyik duk pi Pulau Langkawi aje. Banyak tanah2 pusaka kami terbiaq sana. Che tolong pi jengok2 sikit ya kawasan pendalaman – so many things to do.

  5. Waiting for the Next Raff of Slogans to Commemorate this ” Successful ” Transformasi.

  6. Sad to see Mukhriz, Maznah & Akhram lost. Really sad.
Whatever it is, UMNO delegates have decided the leaders.
Work hard to win Sg Limau. Work hard to win GE14.
It is again, sad but it is true.

  7. gardener may water the plant daily but fruits grow only in season , have patience, everything is destined to happen by its own time

    their time will come insyallah

  8. Transformasi taik kucin. Saya tak kata. Din yang kata. Haha.

p.s. Helen. Love your graphic. Senang difahami oleh semua golongan masyarakat: kindergarten hingga warga mas!

  9. I bet that many a journo from the alternative media spending their weekend over at their fav watering holes drowining their sorrow.

They desperately wanted Mukriz to win so that they will go to town writing stories how the transformation of UMNO from moderate to right wing was complete with the elevation of Mukriz and how the Mahatirism has returned.

I can see these wolves over-analysing the result for days even weeks. Some of the foreign journos singing the Mkini narrive would have been also deflated – with their wet dreams turned to tears.

I think perhaps Helen missed the main message here.

    1. That the wild wild west days of money politics are truly over.
    2. The command and control style leadership has gone out, replaced by a more democratic and participative voting system. The days of warlordism is dead.
    3. The influence of Tun M, while still evident, is clearly on the decline. This was seen from the result of 13GE.

This I think is very significant for UMNO’s continued relevance and transformation. While personally I like Mukriz, I don’t think he has earned his own ticket. It would be better for him to demonstrate his capabilities by being a good MB before trying again.
