2015: Three wishes come true

Be careful what you wish for.

The Dapsters clamour for “regime change”. They will find themselves jumping from the frying pan into the fire.

Najib shrug

(1) To what extent is Ah Jib Gor unfriended?

Tun has famously withdrawn his support from Najib Razak. He also fears that BN will lose GE14 under the stewardship of the current Umno president.

Our soalan cepu emas is how far will the ex-premier go in taking some form of corrective action. Recall what he said about dealing with his failed successor Sleepy Dollah.

Tun said, “I’m a doctor, if I find one leg becoming gangrenous I remove it”.

Tun BN lose GE14

Effect of Tun’s continued “sniping from the sidelines”

Below are excerpts from the transcript of Dr Mahathir’s interview in London with Stephen Sackur on Hardtalk.

In the April 2008 British TV programme, the BBC presenter points out that Dr M is perennially worried about stability. Tun replies the Malaysian sociopolitical situation is “very, very fluid and it is very likely that there will be racial riots”.

Sidenote: See also KiniTV news clip where Dr M says @ 2:53, “this country [Malaysia] is a very basically unstable country” and confronted with the possibility of Syria-style chaos.

We should all indeed be worried as to whether Ah Jib will be able to cope with chronic instability. I fear he’s no war general.

BBC ‘Hardtalk’ video HERE

1:38 (Sackur) – “You’re saying that Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi has to be kicked out for the ruling party to recover?”

1:45 (Tun) – “Well not so strong as that. He can step down.”

2:16 (Sackur) – “See, Prime Minister Abdullah says that you have been one of the curses that have brought him down, because you’ve been sniping from the sidelines for the last two or three years.”

2:25 (Tun) – “Ah, that may be so. I don’t see why I should not criticize wrongdoings by him.”

Will history repeat itself?

You must remember, the grand old man is an immortal.

And do consider his track record – Tunku, Tengku Razaleigh, Musa Hitam, Anwar Ibrahim, Dollah Badawi … none of them managed to get the better of him.

So far, Tun has not called upon Najib to step down … as yet. However, it needs to be mentioned that the prime minister’s IQ (Irritant Quotient) is very high.

An editor of Kelab Menyokong Umno today lamented the snide remarks made by the many “kaki komplen” about the PM’s golfing holiday presently in Hawaii. Writing in the popular MyKMU website, Adam Yan observed, “dengan mereka apa pun Najib buat tak kena”.

It is unfortunate but true. Ah Jib appears unable to do anything right where his detractors are concerned. However the tipping point does not lie with the blogger-blogger bangang. It lies with Tun.

Najib patut pecat Saifuddin
http://www.ismaweb.net/2014/10/najib-patut-pecat-saifuddin/

What will Tun do?

Will Ah Jib irritate the good doctor (who’s proven before to be quite willing to amputate that other gangrenous limb) to a point whereby Dr M will put on his surgical gloves? You reckon?

It’s very difficult for someone who doesn’t suffer fools gladly not to be annoyed with Ah Jib.

The oppo people have been happily spitting in Najib’s face (or more literally, pijak kepala). If Najib goes, next in line is Muhyiddin. Dapsters are trading Ah Jib Gor, the Valiant Defender of Vernacular School, for a “Malay Firster”.

Padan muka.

(2) How will the hudud move pan out?

Norman Fernandez, the former deputy chairman of DAP Johor, has told DAP national leaders to stop feigning their righteous indignation against PAS. “Today what I warned DAP has come true,” he said in a press statement.

D-Day is Dec 29 when the PAS-led Kelantan DUN holds its special sitting for the legislative assembly to pass amendments enabling the state to enforce hudud.

The 12 Umno Aduns in the 45-seat Kelantan dewan are not expected to object the amendments bill. At most, they may abstain from voting.

Norman Fernandez holds the DAP accountable as “the midwife that helped deliver the PAS hudud”.

According to him, DAP has been tirelessly doing the sales pitch for PAS in order to downplay the fears of non-Muslims. It was the self-professed secular party that misled and convinced the Chinese that hudud was no longer the PAS agenda.

“DAP took on the role of apologist for PAS,” explains Fernandez.

Calling DAP “a party unashamedly drunk for power”, he says hoodwinking and deceiving the non-Muslim electorate is a matter of “belakang kira” with DAP leaders as long as they can satisfy their “lust for power”.

A few days before polling day on 5 May 2013, Fernandez went public with his reasons why non-Muslims should not vote for PAS. Recounting his revolt against DAP, he comments, “my statement caused quite a stir and the DAP leaders had a hissy fit”.

Although Fernandez was berated by the DAP horde for being an alarmist and a traitor to the ABU cause, he is now vindicated by the events unfolding.

Hobson’s choice for Umno

The hudud amendments will be passed on Dec 29 by Kelantan and taken to Parliament next year.

At federal level, it’s a tough call for the Parti Paling Tidak Apa (PPTA) which has not – until recently – been in favour of implementing the harsh penalties.

Nonetheless, given how aggressive and life-threatening the DAP evangelistas are, some quarters in Umno may be tempted to give in for the sake of survival and “so-li-da-ri-ti” among the ummah.

PAS is same old; DAP has Ubah-ed

We cannot rightly blame PAS for this development as the Islamic state aspiration is, after all, enshrined in the party constitution. It is instead the deceitful and duplicitous DAP which has betrayed its non-Muslim supporters.

And all because the DAP top leadership has been taken over by Greedy evangelistas seeking Gold and self-Glory while at the same time exploiting the Gospel in their ruthless politicking.

Why the insane support for DAP, who seemingly can do no wrong in the eyes of the Chinese, you might ask? The answer is simple: Hate. Pure, unadulterated hate.

It serves to drown any last vestige of rational thinking. If the Chinese were capable of reason and refrained from solely blaming PAS, then they’d be able to see the real role that the DAP has played in birthing (the implementation of) hudud.

Bumi ini bumi Melayu Islam

(3) What is the kalimah Allah end game?

The controversy over lafaz Allah is splitting the country into two – those for the Muslims and those for the Christian camp.

Malaysians are forced to take sides because there is no more middle ground. The Christians should back down and back off. But they won’t.

It is the core fundamental of the faith (tauhid) which the Christians are undermining in their insistence on using ‘Allah’.

In fact, this audacious challenge by the evangelistas would be the clarion call for jihad in any other Islamic state. Lucky for the Christians, Malaysia is not a full-fledged Islamic state despite all the “Taliban” name-calling of late.

MuslimMajorityCountriesWorld

We’re a freak of history

The ethnic composition of Malaysia is an anomaly for a Muslim country.

Look at the global chart above. In 37 countries of the world where Islam is the majority religion, Muslims make up 80 percent and more of the population: Afghanistan 99% Muslim, Turkey 98% Muslim, Uzbekistan 97% Muslim, Pakistan 96% Muslim, etc, etc. You get the picture.

There are merely five countries of the world where Islam is the religion of the majority but Muslims make up 70 percent or less of the population.

Lebanon, Burkina Faso and Malaysia are the only three countries of the world where Muslims are the majority and numbering between 60-64 percent of the population. You’re all aware, I presume, that Lebanon has suffered a series of civil wars between her Muslims and Christians?

Reflect honestly and deeply on this poser: What is the attitude of the evangelistas in Malaysia toward Islam? Cut the sugar-coating and hypocrisy, please! Just tell the truth now (you know it and I know it).

Yahudi Yeohs and their screaming “Racist!”, “Extremist!”

And if they harbour this attitude, how much more hypocritical can the Yahudi Yeohs get, pretending to preach “peace and harmony”?

How can they live here with any kind of goodwill if they really feel that way about Islam?

Twitterhannahyeoh may God have mercy on the racists

They will get what they deserve

At the start of this article, I’d said that the Dapsters hanker for “regime change”. Well, they’re going to get the Change that they’re been wishing.

If there was a beauty pageant for men, Najib would win the Mr Moderate title hands down. One can’t think of any public figure more genuinely moderate than our PM.

Umno and the Malays have always been moderate. But not anymore. The Yahudi Yeohs have radicalized the Malays and pushed the right wing to take the wheel.

2015 is the Year of Uncertainties

(1) Ah Jib’s political career hangs in the balance.

(2) Hudud is 50-50 and can go either way.

(3) The Muslims will put their foot down on kalimah Allah. This one is a surer bet.

There is a lot of ugly finger-pointing at Isma. In truth, three fingers point back at the ugly evangelistas and their grotesque DAP leadership.

  1. Helen, I fear the evagelistas will push us all to the brink.

I remember, not too long ago, an incident in either Kulim, Kedah or Bukit Mertajam when a Christian doctor, a private practioner, was murdered. He was killed because it was widely believed that he was encouraging Muslim boys and girls in the area to convert to Christianity.

That was just one man while now there appears to be a concerted movement to provoke the Muslims here. I do not want to imagine a scenario that can alarm people but people need to be reminded what religious tensions can do to a society.

All this talk of peace and love is just talk while all the same time provocative words and tweets are freely spread. To many Muslims, The Star newspaper has become the mouthpiece of not moderates but actaully the Christian evangelists by continuously attacking Muslims. Although this is done through the use of words like “bigots”, “idiots”, “religious exteremists” and the like, we all know who these are directed against.

If these provocations don’t stop soon, I shudder to think of what might happen in the future. And not to forget, there are “jihadists” in Malaysia. Those who killed the doctor were unlike the “jihadists” of today. I fear the latter may turn their attention to events at home once their “passion” with the ISIL are over.

    2. “push us to the brink”????

Really? In this day and age? With the pervasive and ubiquitous social media?

One irrational response would be “bring it on”.

Let’s pray that saner voices prevail.

Bear in mind, though, that much of the world isn’t exactly friendly towards Islam, especially it’s more “fundamentalist” versions and practitioners.

      1. re: ““push us to the brink”????”

re: “Let’s pray that saner voices prevail.”

Selama ini pun, orang Melayu mengangkat nilai-nilal kesederhanaan. Ianya evangelista yang suka mengada-ngada.

re: “Bear in mind, though, that much of the world isn’t exactly friendly towards Islam”

Gusar? Hyena tunjuk belang dah sampai lupa tanam tebu di tepi bibir. Ke mana perginya ungkapan madu berhelah – “kita semua bersaudara” … “your Allah is my Allah too”?

  2. Mereka ini ada di merata tempat Helen. Ingat tak komen di blog Annie? Same sentiments mengasaskan world view mereka.

So because much of the world is supposedly unfriendly to Islam, these people can feel free to challenge, insult and ridcule the religion.

I say good luck to them.

    1. Honestly Ayah, I don’t see how they can live in this country feeling the way that they do about Islam.

They need to make peace with the Religion of the Federation and let go that pent-up negativity which makes them knee-jerk so nastily whenever they get the chance to disparage the faith.

    2. I can bet majority of them have not read the Quran, so why are they unfriendly towards Islam? If they don’t know what Islam is all about macam mana tiba2 asyik tak suka aje ni?

      sturmunddrang
      Please list down reasons why?

  3. Dap strategy since 2008, Divide, Conquer & Rule. Who cares about the Allah issue, Indians,Malays,Iban,Kadazan,Dusun

Like the saying “‘where there’s a will there’s a way”‘
or it should read “‘where there’s a Pkr there’s a Pas. What they are today is very much to do with these two.

Kudos to them, they know how to play their cards, and screw with everyone else.

Cant say the same for Najib and friends, they are more intrested in themselves rather the country.

    1. Najib and his friends unfortunately for the rakyat, are [deleted] and incompetent. This provides a rationale for other greedy and envious politicians to psyche up the Chinese imagination towards blind partisanship. You need a national mainstream schooling system! Other than that is selfish politicization at the expense of national solidarity.

  4. From my observation, the DAP political playbook closely follows the modus operandi of the evangelical method of conversion.

They show you the friendly face first, lots of positive reinforcement. They use lots of social interaction to take up your time so that your old social network fades into the background. Once you’re in, then they will start undermining your initial beliefs and value system. It can be subtle or blatant, depends on the EQ of the converter and the intellect of the target. Unfortunately, in most cases the EQ level usually higher (bordering on sociopathic levels at times) than the intellect and emotional maturity of the target. Hence the success rate.

Once converted, the negative emotive tropes that were part of the undermining process now begin to manifest when the convert is ‘released’ back to his/her old social network; thus creating initial discord and eventual acquiescence to the convert’s strong (but misguided) views.

Why this is successful is because most people are lazy to think and analyse beyond the surface level. When presented with a simplistic solution that speaks to their innate prejudices and affirms their ignorant views, they will follow like lambs to the slaughter house.

    1. Depa kalut nak convert oghang sangat2 pasai apa?

Pasai jantan boleh kawin jantan? anak luar nikah boleh biaq berterabur sana sini? nak telanjang main bola gedik2 kat pantai pun bole? Nak jadi macam si Alvin pun bole, sex bebas share2 bagi public free show lagi, kan syiok tu?.

Can fitnah, tipu, goreng berapa banyak kita suka, pasai pi masuk kotak, confess aje, ada Pakcik instantly bole cuci bersih semua dosa2? Agaknya Bush dengan Blair asyik keluaq masuk kotak tu dan tiap hari Pakcik tu asyik bersihkan dosa mereka. Lawak betoi!

      Issssh

      1. My dear Rina, you are quite mistaken. The evangelists are also very conservative. They are against gay marriage (and anything related to LGBT issues) as well the other things you mentioned.

Tapi bab cuci bersih dosa tu, betul la…

        1. Of course they are very conservative but their conservatism is anchored in hypocrisy. When it comes to money they are not very conservative at all. Just look at the way they carry themselves when it comes to money. The handbags, the jewelry.

    2. Agree with that. Most Malaysians are really lazy to think and analyse anything without doing any research.

Such as many small incidents which the current DAP members can magnify almost anything for their interest only and many people in my race (Cina) are being misguided for their manifest.

  5. My take on Hudud is that in their most desperate hour, Umno will agree to Pas’ demand. A nuclear option and this nuclear option once exercised will mean a profoundly changed Malaysia.

I don’t think, I don’t believe for a second that non Muslims, especially the Chinese, know the ramifications of this whole anti Muslim, endless provocations of Muslims. They think this is fashionable, that by indulging and participating in this whole madness orchestrated by the DAP, they think they are “powerful”. On the contrary the position of the Chinese is being compromised daily by the DAP and their followers.

There are few sane voices left in the Chinese community. Anyone who is of a different opinion will be instantly labeled a traitor. With such a climate engulfing the Chinese community, is it any wonder the sane and rational ones within the Chinese community have chosen, or are choosing to migration to other countries.

Yesterday a Chinese friend of mine, a professional, he said he’s moving to Australia citing the worsening situation in Malaysia. he’s doing it for his family. I don’t really blame him. After all, family comes first. Even I myself have my own exit plan in place should things turn unfavorable.

    1. re: “There are few sane voices left in the Chinese community. Anyone who is of a different opinion will be instantly labeled a traitor.”

Worse than that. The Yahudi Yeohs go on an all-out campaign to smear those Chinese who don’t share their Christian supremacist opinion.

The viciousness with which they’re able to concoct vile lies – just to try a drag their critic’s reputation through mud – is ultra kiasu.
